Why we want to share
Ánh Dương is just a small organization, despite the fact that our programs have reached over 200 villages and more than 100,000 direct beneficiaries every year!
Why do we want to share our experiences? We have 2 basic motivations:
- We are small but the story of our organisation is big! We want to tell everyone about our experiences living and working in the Mekong Delta and how development can be done efficiently, at very low cost and in a sustainable manner. We are so fortunate to spend our time with the villagers of remote areas, to share their worries and hopes for the future. It is a sort of debt that we have with them and we must share with you. The reports and videos are the fruit of intense team work.
- We have many successes but also some failures and frustrations. Without hesitation, we want to share them with all so that hopefully people in the same position can learn from them. Maybe then we will all save time.
